I am a current sufferer of Polycystic Ovarian Syndrome (PCOS). After many years of dieting, exercising, and doing whatever I could to try to lose weight, I realized that I needed some help. I've struggled with weight all of my life and nothing ever seemed to work for me, despite hours at the gym, healthy eating, and determination. I joined Dr. Bernstein on January 5, 2010 when I finally realized that I needed help in order to feel better and manage the symptoms of PCOS.

End of June

I had my doctor's appt today with the clinic doctor today.  She said I'm burning lots which is really good.  I'm still retaining water from the heat wave. Now that its cooled down I hope for my weight to drop quite a bit over the weekend.  My 2-week weight goal next week is 151.8-154.8.  I'm at 160.2 now.  I'm usually 2 lbs higher than my 2 week goal for some reason so I do not expect to drop 5.4 lbs over the weekend and on Tuesday.  But if I can get to at least 156.8 then I will be happy with that. 

I have decided to end my diet at the end of June.  It's just getting too expensive and really starting to stress me out.  Everyone keeps telling me that its worth going into debt over and the extra expense.  I do not 100% agree with this.  I want to start paying back the money I paid for this expensive diet and start living my life again! It was a great experience to get me to lose the weight I needed to lose and to start feeling better.  However, at the end of June I plan to start working out again and eating pretty much the same way.  I will be able to lose the rest of the weight by myself ---I know I can and I am determined enough to do it!
