I am a current sufferer of Polycystic Ovarian Syndrome (PCOS). After many years of dieting, exercising, and doing whatever I could to try to lose weight, I realized that I needed some help. I've struggled with weight all of my life and nothing ever seemed to work for me, despite hours at the gym, healthy eating, and determination. I joined Dr. Bernstein on January 5, 2010 when I finally realized that I needed help in order to feel better and manage the symptoms of PCOS.

Oh Well...

So I registered a small weight gain of 0.6lbs on the scale since Monday.  However, it is "that time of the month (ttotm)" for me so 0.6lbs isn't bad (I usually gain 3-7lbs).  I did have a small slip lastnight and gave into my craving for something greasy.  Andy was eating pizza and I had a small slice.  However, I'm still burning really well and I'm 100% sure my weight gain is only due to ttotm.  Next week should be a better week for me so wish me luck. I have decided that giving into my craving for a small piece of pizza just wasn't worth it. I felt guilty all night and had trouble sleeping.  I can tell you that won't happen again!!!!!

Sorry there isn't better news today.  However, I'm still below 190lbs which is good news for me! I'm just happy to be out of the 200's and 190's! 

I see the doctor on Friday and have another weigh in so maybe my weight will go down a bit by Friday.
