Just wanted to update my blog with my current weight. Been a tiny bit of a struggle in the 160's probably b/c my body just isn't used to being this small! But its moving again! They said b/c I was sick last week with a bad flu/cold that that slowed down my ability to lose weight. I'm much better now and all is back to normal!
As usual, I didn't reach my 2 week goal (I was 2 lbs off like always) but I'm not worried about it. I've learned that my body does what it wants, when it wants. Also, since I do have PCOS, the rate of weight loss is also going to be a little slower than someone without PCOS who's on the same diet. So I'm not going to beat myself up over it ---especially when I know I'm following the rules and doing everything right! I'm also so proud of my progress as I would not have been able to lose this kind of weight any other way.
I've been doing a lot of thinking about what I'm going to do when I've reached my goal on this diet. I think that I'm definitely going to start a workout program. I'm deciding on whether I want to join a gym again or just do my Jillian MIchaels bootcamp DVD's and the Biggest Loser workout program on my WII at home. I am also kicking around the idea of getting a personal trainer but not sure yet. This is a whole new life for me and I need to find a way to keep this weight off and get into the best shape of my life once I reach my goal. That is what I'm going to work towards and I think if I keep setting goals for my self that I will be able to keep this weight off and for good.
Here are my results:
Current weight as of April 28th/10: 166.6 lbs
Starting Weight as of Jan 5/10: 218.4 lbs
Weightloss to go: 36.6 lbs
Weight loss to date: 51.8 lbs
